鏡もち（かがみもち）【お正月情報】

Wikipediaによれば、その由来は諸説あるようで、
「古代日本で使われていた青銅器の形を模したものである」
「心臓の形を模したものである」といった説が有力なようですが、
お正月の歴史は平安時代より前から続いていたとされ、とても古く、
真相のほどはハッキリしていないようです。
